Welcome to Unfiltrd, here are a few things as a new user that you should do to help your profile gain followers and sales and make the most of your time on Unfiltrd! 🚀

Read the Community Guidelines and the Terms of Service 

Make sure your profile is 100% complete. 

Your bio should allude to the type of content you’re offering. It should be short and sweet, but informative.

🤗 Setup your different subscription tiers and be sure to add a welcome messages. These welcome messages encourage subscribers to interact with you right from that start.

📸 Add good quality cover photos and profile pictures. These should be in line with your content, don't use cartoons.

🔗 Make sure to include your social media links. 

All of this can be done in the My Profile & More>Set SubscriptionLevels

If you’re needing inspiration for bio and tiers, check out what some other creators in your niche are doing and saying.  (Don’t copy work for word, just get inspiration)

Post about 10 - 20 pieces of content so that fans are attracted to your page.

A well presented profile with high quality content performs twice as well on average.

Balance your feed between :

• 85 to 95% of blurred media that will only be visible to your subscribers (make sure you’re posting to multiple tiers and using the right content for the right tiers- longer videos and spicier content in higher paying tiers)
• 5 to 15% of public media, this will be visible to all fans and will help you gain visibility. It should also be the kind of content that will convert followers to subscribers. 

 To set your media to subscription tiers 

• click + icon at bottom of your 
• Click Create post from the pop up menu
• Select content to upload from vault or select Upload to choose media from your device 
• Once media is selected add a caption 
• Set the price from the upload menu. The price defaults to your lowest level tier but can be bumped up to any other tier. You can also set a one time purchase price as well.
  • 35% of all sales on unfiltrd are One Time Purchases on content and media, using the one time purchase option on all paid content will gain more earnings from those members of the platform not quite ready to subscribe.
• Select your preview if you wish to have one for the file.
  • all previews must adhere to community guidelines. All explicit content must be behind a paywall. Topless content is allowed in previews and shorties.
• Save and Publish. 

Keep in mind that this is very much SALES driven. When you're subscribing or following your favorite online personalities, they are selling you on their product, their personality. You need to do the same with your followers and subscribers. You need to find out what the customer wants and then deliver it to them in a way that keeps them subscribing and purchasing content from you.  

One way to engage potential fans is by uploading Shorties. Shorties are short 30 second clips similar to reels and TikTok videos. These are free previews of you and your page but should not contain any nudity.

To add a Shortie:

• Click + icon at the bottom of the screen 
• Click Create Shortie 
• Click upload from device  
• Select video to use for shortie 
• Publish 

Things to keep in mind:

• Media formats are standard JPEG, jpg, heif, Heic, png, m4v,mov, wmv, mpg, mpeg 
• Files need to be less than 2gb in size 
• Videos should be in 1080p, 4K videos are not supported. 
• Explicit content is not allowed in shorties. Topless content is allowed, anything uncovered below the waist needs to be behind a paywall.

Share your Unfiltrd on your own social networks.

You should place your Unfiltrd link in the bio of your social media pages, you can also place it in a link tree. 

You need to actively promote your Unfiltrd page. This includes posting stories and other calls to action on your social media platforms. Building your social media following will result in these same followers joining your Unfiltrd. 

Don't forget to use your referral links when recruiting members to the platform. (You can find this on unfiltrd by going to Menu> Referral Program> Invite Members

You can also share your direct link for unfiltrd by going to your profile and tapping the Arrow icon at the top of the screen.  

When sharing to your social media don't forget about the popular features we offer. Events are a big selling point as well as calls and DMs being open. You can advertise on your social media in with the following calls to action:

• My DMs are open. Want to come talk with me?
• Taking phone calls now! or Taking calls at X time
• Come do X with me Live. Tickets on sale now!
• I'm in the top % of creators on Unfiltrd, come see why

These are just some examples of how creators use their social media to bring in new subscribers or remind current subscribers of what's going on.

Use the Promo Toolkits

The Unfiltrd staff have created promotional toolkits that can be used for your social media platforms to help you promote your unfiltrd profile. There are downloadable slides for promoting Sales, Going, Live, Events and more.

Respond quickly to your DMs and requests for custom content.

Responding to all DMs in a timely manner lets your subscribers know that you are there for them, they will generally stay subscribed for longer if they feel seen.  Remember that subscribers are here for the experience and getting to know “you”. 

Creating custom content -that you’re comfortable with- is a great way to keep subscribers happy and increase your revenue stream. Make sure to include details about custom content guidelines and specials in your tier description and welcome message. (Some creators offer discounts on custom content for higher paying tiers) 

When members are requesting custom content, make sure to discuss exactly what the member is looking for. Details are important as they help you figure out pricing and can also help you recognize common scams.

To pay for custom content members should send the amount for their content as a tip by using the tip button at the bottom on the message screen. See Features for more. Always collect payments before creating the custom content.

WARNING: If someone is asking you to write their name either on your body or on a piece of paper to hold in front of the camera, do not do it. This is a common tactic to steal your content and use it for verification on other sites.

Start sending grouped messages via the Mass Message feature.

In your Mail box you will see a 📧 icon in the upper left, you can use this to send out Mass DMs to followers and subscribers.  

When you select the 📧 you will be taken to a Select recipients page. You can use this to target only followers, or specific subscription tiers. 

This is a great tool for sending out PPV messages, encouraging followers to subscribe or send out thank you messages and content to subscribers. 

Sending exclusive unlockables via Mass DM is a great way to earn additional income.

Create AUCTIONS!

Unfiltrd is the only fan subscription platform that allows you to auction off items and content on the site. Kind of like a sexy eBay! check out our article on Auctions Here

Recruiting and Referral Programs

Unfiltrd has a one of a kind, ultra competitive referral program. You have access to referral links for creators and members. You can access your referral links by going to Menu> Referral Program. From here you can select Invite Creators or Invite Members.

For each Creator you invite you receive 5% commission on all earnings that creator earns during the life of their account, for as long as you have an active account. This 5% is not deducted from that creators earnings.

For each Member you invite to the platform, you will earn 1% commission on all money spent by that member, regardless of which creator they contribute to, for 6 months from the date they sign up.
