Payment Methods

Unfiltrd accepts both credit and debit cards that are issued by Discover, Mastercard to Visa, as well as Bitcoin Crypto Currency. You will be asked to enter a payment card the first time you follow a user.

Adding A Payment Method To Your Account

When you go to a creator profile and select follow you will be shown a menu for subscription tiers and the option to just follow. When you select either a subscription tier or to follow you will be directed to a new page to enter payment information. Once you enter your card details, agree to terms of use and hit subscribe your card information will be securely saved to the site for future purchases. 

This same card that you may have used to subscribe will also be used for adding money to your account balance. Your account balance is used for sending paid messages, and sending tips.  Your balance can not be used for subscriptions or unlocking content. 

Note: The credit card information screen will open in a new tab. If you do not get this screen, please check that pop up blockers are either off or are allowed for this site.

Changing Your Payment Method

If you would like to change your payment method, you can go to Menu> Account Settings> Payment Card from here you can click the three dots in the upper right to remove the card. Once the card is removed you can enter a new card when you go to follow or subscribe to a creator.

Using Bitcoin 

Unfiltrd is the first fan centered platform to offer Peer to Peer crypto payments with Bitcoin. This means you can pay for unlock-able content. You will only see the option to pay with Bitcoin if the creator has added a crypto wallet to their profile. 

When you click to unlock a post you will be given the option to unlock the post by subscribing to the creators subscription tier or to Unlock the post. If you select Unlock Post you will have the option to Pay by Credit Card or Pay with Bitcoin. 

Select Pay with Bitcoin to be redirected to a screen that will convert the payment amount to BTC.  From here you will have a link to generate a payment address. 

Copy the generated Bitcoin address and then initiate the transfer to that address from your Bitcoin Wallet. There is also an option to copy the BTC amount.  
You can use any wallet, such as Metamask, CoinBase or Trustwallet, as long as it is your bitcoin address 

Note: Bitcoin payments can take 1-3 hours to process as we need at least 3 confirmations. Once the bitcoin transfer has been completed you will gain access to the unlocked content. 

Bitcoin can not be used to pay for subscriptions as Rebill is not currently supported by Bitcoin. Bitcoin payments can only be used for unlock able content on the feed. Messages, tips and subscriptions will still need to use credit or debit.
