How to Setup My Profile

Step 1 - Edit your profile

The first step you'll want to complete is to edit your profile by clicking your profile icon to go to your profile and clicking "edit profile".

a. Once you click edit profile you will be taken to this page. You will want to add a profile photo and banner. The dimensions of the banner are approx. 480pixels x 180pixels. Using a high quality banner and profile photo are highly recommended and will attract more traffic to your page. Here you will input your name, username, a bio, and welcome message, as well as a profile welcome video message. We suggest that you fill in all of these fields completely because this will make your profile more attractive to members and potential subscribers browsing your page.

b. Below your welcome message video you can edit your profile theme. Please be as accurate as possible, as this will help members find you on the website based on the type of profile you have and content you create.

c. Once you have finished editing your profile click save and you are finished with this step of the process!

Step 2 - Set-up your subscription levels

The next step you'll want to complete is setting up your subscription levels. *Disregard this step if you want your page to be a free page and allow your members to ONLY make purchases from your profile on a one-time purchase basis. Unfiltrd allows fans and followers on your page to subscribe to your page on a monthly reoccuring basis in addition to being able to make purchases from your feed. If you want to be able to do both, you must set up these subscription packages by doing the following:

a. click on "more" and then "set subsription levels". You will then be taken to a new page where you will then click on "subscription levels. Here you will be able to add as many subscription levels as you'd like and customize them in a number of ways.

b.Adding a cover to your subscription level is recommended as it will make it more appealing to potential subscribers.

Add a price to your subscription level.

In your caption, make sure to give your subscription level a name as well as a thorough description of what benefits your subscribers will be unlocking once they subscribe. This is a crucial step in converting free followers to subscribers. Be as descriptive of the benefits as possible.

A welcome message is the first message subscribers will recieve upon subscribing. You may also attach an image or video!

c. Click save and your subscription level is complete! You may add as many additional subsciption levels as you'd like.

d. Go back to the previous page and click following. This is your welcome message to all of your free followers. This is extremely important because Unfiltrd allows memers to follow your page for free. Please note that you do have the option to put ALL of your content behind a paywall and only allow previews on your feed so that free followers can see only limited content. Having a free following is advantageous so make sure to leave an appealing welcome message that will encourage people to subscribe or interact with you. You may also attach an unlockable photo or video for a set price.

Step 3 - Adjust your Price Settings

Time to adjust your price settings for calls and messages!

a. Go back to the "more" menu and click on "account settings" and then "price settings.

b. In price settings you'll want to either disable or enable incoming calls, and set the prices of your

• minute per calls

• messages from subscribers

• messages from non-subscribers,

• media messages from subscribers (photos and videos)

• media messages from non-subscribers

Once you have completed setting your prices click save and you are finished with this step. Feel free to return to this screen at any time to change your price settings.

Step 4 - Uploading Content

Now that you have edited your profile, created your subscription levels, your welcome messages, and adjusted your price settings - you are ready to begin uploading content to your profile and filling up your page! Remember, the more content you have on your page (and especially in each subsription level) the more likely you are to attract subscribers and paying customers).

a. In order to create content on our profile you must click the "+" symbol. You can create a post, shortie, event, auction, or go live, from this menu. First you will want to begin creating posts on your feed. Creating as many posts, shorties, and auctions on your feed in the beginning of your content creating journey is essential.

b. In order to create a post to your feed click on the purple plus sign and then  "create" post.

c. In the caption add the title and description of the content you are publishing to your feed. Click add files to upload however many images or videos you wish to upload to the post. You may also select which images you'd like to be previews/covers for the post (optional).

d. While your file(s) upload(s) you may also choose to schedule your post (optional).

c. Unfiltrd automatically sets your post to a one time unlockable purchase price of $5 and your lowest subscription level price to avoid accidentally posting content for free. Feel free to click this button and adjust these price settings to your own preferences. You may also disable one time purchase and leave your post only for subscribers, or set it for one time purchase only. However, we highly suggest allowing both to increase chances of purchase from both subscribers and free followers.

d. Once your content finishes uploading click publish or schedule your post. It will either schedule for the future date or automatically upload to yours and your members' feeds where they can view or purchase.

Step 5 - Finishing Your Profile

Have you filled your feed with various types of content that will attract subscribers and entice even your free followers to unlock content? Let's run through some questions to make sure you've done everything you can for the best chance at success!

• Are you charging a justifiable subscrition price for the amount of content that is on your feed?
• Are the rewards and perks being offered under each subscription level worth the subscription price?
• Do you feel that each subscription level is being accurately described and makes the member want to subscribe?
• Is the overall look of your profile aesthetically pleasing and filled with high quality, engaging, competitively priced content with enticingly descriptive captions?

Once you have answered these questions - make sure to remain as active on Unfiltrd as possible. Posting content daily, messaging with members consistently, promoting yourself on other social media platforms is essential for success. In order to be featured on the discover and trending page under "best posts", "best videos", and on our discover page under "top rated" for all members to see, you MUST upload often and engage regularly. We also recommend promoting your Unfiltrd at least 3 times a week on your social media platforms. We have even designed some professional templates for you to use if you would like at Promo Toolkit 

*Pro Tip - Uploading shorties is the fastest and easiest way to gain quick followers from within the site. All members on the website, even those not following you, can view shorties (up to 30 seconds long clips similar to tik-toks that you can upload from the create post page).
